SSPX - St. Mary's, KS Rosary Procession for the 2015 Family Synod

A short video below of the Rosary Procession held on the evening of Sunday, October 4, 2015 by the Priests and Faithful of Assumption Chapel "... in honor of Our Lady, calling all to hear the SSPX's request for prayers and sacrifices during the Synod on the Family."

It was also advertised in the local paper, so it is likely there were also other Catholic families participating (at least that is my hope). No one has an official count that I know of, but in a parish that is as large as the city itself, it is safe to say it could have easily approached 1,000 adults and children.

Fifteen Decades of the Rosary and Marian Hymns were prayed and sung as we processed from the church grounds through town and back again. It was edifying to see so many come together to plead for Our Lady's intercession in this time of great need for Holy Mother Church.

"...Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen."

  1. That was beautiful...wish I could have been there!!! We need more processions like that all over the world.

I hope and pray the outcome of the Synod won't be a repeat of Vatican II. As the saying goes, history does repeat itself. Unfortunately, most Catholics in the pews don't know or understand the Faith. I hope more people can see this video and discover the traditional Latin Mass and pre-Vatican II teachings that have been handed down thru generations.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!

    1. It was beautiful and edifying, surely...

The Church will start to see the true "new evangelization" when she returns to what has always been - namely the beacon of Truth to the world where only here can one be saved. Right now, MAN believes he can save everyone and the Church now appears headed towards the same ideology.

The Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is all it will take. A simple thing, really, but one that apparently sticks in the craw of many, though the words come from the Mother of Christ Herself.
