REBLOG: After the SYNOD: More Changes That Will Be Necessary (Amoris Laetitia Edit)

Ed. Note: I wrote this one 2 years ago October 8. I believe it bears a re-post (with some minor changes in wording for clarity) because of its applicability to the infamous Amoris Laetitia. The same thinking applies, for instance: to be truly effective and let everyone have a clean conscience who might partake of AL's rancid water, the 6th and 9th Commandments will simply have to be stricken from the Decalogue. I mean, why have them around if AL has basically negated them anyway? Can't an Apostolic Letter be written that will simply "un-write" them so as not to pose future problems?

Why is it that those in charge don't seem to realize (or care, perhaps?) that if they promulgate a completely new re-imagining of past doctrine/praxis/teaching, that an official and complete negation of the old has to be announced so as to make the new completely and unequivocally valid? Why leave the old untouched and in full force?
We now all appear to be, in truth, "cafeteria catholics", where we can pick from a smorsgasboard that in which we want to believe, vis-a-vis Biden/Kaine/Pelosi catholicism.

I thought The Four Marks of the Church were ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC and APOSTOLIC. It seems we've now dropped the "ONE" mark...How soon before another mark falls by the wayside from the stroke of a Papal pen??

Article starts below the fold...

Assuming all lays out as it appears to be doing - and from all the media reports, respected blog sites, the Vatican, etc. it very well may be - when the Synodal changes come (and are implemented by a cadre of clerics at breakneck speed before too many ordinary pew-sitters have time to think) the Synod will also, by extension (at least in my opinion) need to change a few of those other pesky, nasty and judgemental laws that currently encumber the One True Church and prevent untold millions from embracing the One True Faith (I know, I know...but that's the meme a lot of liberal clerics/Bishops/Cardinals would have us believe...)

At the expense of running afoul of theologians and Canon Lawyers, I nonetheless state the following must also occur before full realization of any Synodal changes concerning the Sacrament of Matrimony and the new "Springtime" of the Family can occur (any emphasis below mine):

1. The removal or modification of particular sections of the current Catechism of the Catholic Church:

#133 must remove all wording indicating bullying and be modified to: The Church "forcefully and specifically exhorts asks and respectfully requests that all the Christian faithful. . . to learn the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ, by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures. Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ.

#1735 must be modified to read: Imputability and responsibility for an action can be diminished or even nullified by ignorance, inadvertence, duress, fear, habit, inordinate attachments, and other psychological or social factors or by a Synod of Bishops or Cardinals.

#1767 must be modified to read: "It belongs to the perfection of the moral or human good that REASON be governed by THE PASSIONS.

#1792 currently reads: "Ignorance of Christ and his Gospel, bad example given by others, enslavement to one's passions, assertion of a mistaken notion of autonomy of conscience, rejection of the Church's authority and her teaching, lack of conversion and of charity: these can be at the source of errors of judgment in moral conduct".  This one
will have to be struck in its entirety, as it will now be in direct conflict with #1767 above.

#2384: Divorce is a grave offense against the natural law. It claims to break the contract, to which the spouses freely consented, to live with each other till death. Divorce does injury to the covenant of salvation, of which sacramental marriage is the sign. Contracting a new union, even if it is recognized by civil law, adds to the gravity of the rupture: the remarried spouse is then in a situation of public and permanent adultery.

#2385: Divorce is immoral also because it introduces disorder into the family and into society. This disorder brings grave harm to the deserted spouse, to children traumatized by the separation of their parents and often torn between them, and because of its contagious effect which makes it truly a plague on society.

These two above just have to go... for, ya know, as long as you are divorced and remarried but in a happy and stable relationship and "luv" one another, it will no longer be immoral to lie to and cheat on your spouse and/or to steal anothers spouse.

2. The removal or modification ( to exclude any reference to or about adulterers) to the first 10 verses of Matthew 19

"And I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery."

Our Lord Jesus Christ (AKA: the SON of GOD!) is certainly NOT VERY NICE! You might even call him a meanie and a bully for using such strong language!

3. The removal or modification of certain sections of the Code of Canon Law:

#1446,S:2 - Whenever the judge perceives some hope of a favorable outcome at the start of litigation or even at any other time, the judge is not to neglect to encourage and assist the parties to collaborate in seeking an equitable solution to the controversy and to indicate to them suitable means to this end, even by using reputable persons for mediation.

#1676 - Before accepting a case and whenever there is hope of a favorable outcome, a judge is to use pastoral means to induce the spouses if possible to convalidate the marriage and restore conjugal living.
#1695 - Before accepting the case and whenever there is hope of a favorable outcome, the judge is to use pastoral means to reconcile the spouses and persuade them to restore conjugal living.

As a marriage is already de facto "irremediably broken" by virtue of having a civil divorce (as I was told by my Bishop concerning mine without even having an audience with him to discuss the matter) the above Canons are superfluous. Has any Bishop ever enforced them anyway?

4. Catholic Marriage Ceremonies:

Upon the anticipated effective date of any changes, it will also become unnecessary to have a Catholic Nuptial Mass or even to be married in the presence of a priest (Ecumenism...Hell-lo-oh??  If one religion is as good as the other, why the need for a Catholic priest to make a wedding "catholic" and canonically valid? This could actually now make all SSPX marriages valid in the eyes of the Modern Church!) Besides, two-thirds of the marriage bona - Fidelity and Permanency - will have been already neutered by the Synod. The third - Procreation - has been neutered due to Catholics using contraception for five decades. The Devil/Karl Marx/Modernist triumvirate victory will now be complete!

Sadly, it's damn hard for any sane Catholic not to believe such changes as above are not/will not be forthcoming. But then again, we have been foretold of all that is now upon us:

Our Lady of Akita:

"As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests."

"The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sackedthe Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. [Aren't we seeing this one now: Burke vs Kasper, the FFI, Iraqi Catholic Churches desecrated, Orthodox priests punished by their Bishop for upholding moral laws, etc...? ed.]

"The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them"

And from the late Dietrich von Hildebrand:

"One of the most horrifying and widespread diseases in the Church today is the lethargy of the guardians of the Faith of the Church ... who make no use whatever of their authority when it comes to intervening against heretical theologians or priests, or against blasphemous performances of public worship ... but assume a rigorously authoritarian attitude towards those believers who are fighting for orthodoxy, and who are thus doing what the bishops ought to be doing themselves! ... They want to silence the faithful believers who take up the cause of orthodoxy, the very people who should by all rights be the joy of the bishops' hearts, their consolation, a source of strength for overcoming their own lethargy. Instead, these people are regarded as disturbers of the peace. ..." ("The Devastated Vineyard")

Is the Synod's raison d'être just the tip of the iceberg and some/many/all of the above prognostications truly possible? Who's to know, of course, but Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Is this is the first salvo in a one world religion being established? It's a scary thought. But then, so is what's happening now!!

Let us pray that The Holy Ghost will send a tsunami of Grace that will drown the liberal thoughts and ideas emanating from this Synod and will leave the Immutable Truth of Our Faith shining brightly in the new "Springtime" sun the Synod is so desirous to see.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord.

Veni, Sancte Spiritus, reple tuorum corda fidelium: et tui amoris in eis ignem accende.

V. Emitte Spiritum tuum, et creabuntur.
R. Et renovabis faciem terrae.

Oremus. Deus, qui corda fidelium Sancti Spiritus illustratione docuisti: da nobis in eodem Spiritu recta sapere; et de eius semper consolatione gaudere. Per Christum Dominum nostrum.

"Never apologize; it's a sign of weakness"

It appears that there are more than just a handful Catholics who believe that the now-open warfare (see the Remnant/Catholic Family News article Part I, Part II and Part III) against the current occupant of the Papal throne (excuse me - chair, for we must not be too paternalistic, right?) and his modernist henchmen, is not justified. Matt, Vennari, Ferrara and now, apparently, even blog post commenters (see commenter PGMGN regarding his banning here and The Remnants recent post here) have apparently been taken to task by some for their defense of the Faith of the past 2,000 years. Why, I do not know. The Objective Truth is plainly before their eyes, for open warfare is precisely what the opposition has been waging these past three years: war upon the Sacrament of Marriage; war upon Traditional Catholics; war upon Priests and Religious who maintain a devotion to the Tridentine Mass; war upon those who rightfully reject open border Islamic immigration out of fear for the safety of their families; and now, perhaps the most egregious and diabolical war of all is about to come full force upon the Faithful - the open profanation of the Body and Blood of Christ.

TONE BE DAMNED, PEOPLE...THIS IS WAR!  Have you all forgotten what the Sacrament of Confirmation really is???

Go and grab your dusty old Baltimore Catechism #3 from the shelf and reread the following (all emphasis mine):

Q. 670. What is Confirmation?

A. Confirmation is a Sacrament through which we receive the Holy Ghost to make us strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ.

Q. 672. Why is Confirmation so called?

A. Confirmation is so called from its chief effect, which is to strengthen or render us more firm in whatever belongs to our faith and religious duties.

Q. 673. Why are we called soldiers of Jesus Christ?

A. We are called soldiers of Jesus Christ to indicate how we must resist the attacks of our spiritual enemies and secure our victory over them by following and obeying Our Lord.

Now that you have reread and reacquainted yourself with your Oath of Enlistment, none have any reason to not join the battle being fought for the very Soul of Catholicism. Yes, we all know that Our Lord promised his Church will never die and that He will be with it always, but do you really think that included us not ever having to go to war? Are we so proud to believe He meant for us to never have to go to His and His Church's defense?

What, then, of the Cristeros

Cristero Women and Children Armed

 ...or of the Vendeans?

Henri de la Rochejaquelein in battle of Cholet, October 17, 1793,painting by Paul-Émile Boutigny, Cholet History Museum

What say you?

I wrote the following comment to The Remnant's recent post (noted above), which also serves as a fitting ending to this one:

"There is a certain objective truth in John Wayne's statement from "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" that aptly applies: "Never apologize; it's a sign of weakness", not that I'd ever imagine for one moment that you, Mr. Matt, would apologize for just being a Roman Catholic. But the statement holds true nonetheless simply to let the "mercifuls" know that in the face of certain evils, there is only one direction to go and that direction is forward. You can't debate emotions. You can't fight evil with dialogue. You can't expect to win a battle using rubber bullets. You can't win a war without suffering pain and hardship - or even death. You either stand and deliver to others what Our Lord delivered to us mere mortals, or, you stand subserviently by and deliver your hands to be shackled by deceit, error and compromise. For although that may save your body, it will eventually kill your Soul.

We should all do well to remember the words of Matthew 10: "And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell."

It is time, Dear Fellow Soldiers of Christ, to throw off the Neville Chamberlain appeasement attitudes that have hamstrung your thought processes of the past 60 years. For if Roman Catholicism's Pearl Harbor has not yet happened, it most certainly is very imminent. It is time to join battle with Our Lord in defense of HIS Church...HIS Church...HIS Church!!

The Sheep Are Now the Defenders of The Faith

"For the moment, we are defended in large part, not by the upper-level hierarchy, but by the Michael Matt's, the Louie Verrecchio's, the Anne Barnhardt's. By the SSPX, the Father Michael Rodriguez's, the Father Lawrence Cizik's. The sheep are for the most part, guarding themselves, are they not?"

"Despite your being 180 degrees off the Roman Catholic mark by openly promoting heresy, embracing sodomy and enshrining adultery, you are still the chosen of the Church and of Christ, validly ordained priests and direct Successors to the Apostles - and one of you to St. Peter himself. Those reasons alone demand I pray for you and your good intentions, no matter what my personal beliefs and opinions are. Never will I or any pray for your bad intentions..."

As noted above, I've already written on the sheep more or less guarding the flock, for our Apostolic Shepherds appear nowhere to be found except setting on high in their palatial estates, enjoying the Al Smith dinners, the US border "hey-look-at-me" Communion wafer give-away or playing the subservient to Islamic heretics that would just as soon slice their throat as look at them.

In bits-and-pieces conversation, in letters-to-editors, in individual blogs, in an anguished combox plea,  it is by and large the Faithful foot soldiers of Christ - who now appear to be only cannon-fodder for the modernists - who have sounded the alarm to all the other sheep of the imminent danger to their Souls. The response from the Shepherds has been nothing more than a loud belch from the gullet, let out only to expel air to allow more feasting on the modernist ham laid before them. The Faithful responses, conversely, have been rising exponentially since 2013 and it was only a matter of time before the in-your-face challenge to the arrogant and self-serving hierarchy reached a crescendo that would be hard pressed to be ignored.

And so that time has arrived. With many prayers and much appreciation going to The Remnant, Catholic Family News and especially to Misters Matt, Ferrara & Vennari, I believe it is only going to become more loud, more vocal and more intense, for what else is left for the Faithful but to call upon their Catholic birthright and Canon Law and force the Shepherds to stand and deliver on their Apostolic promises:

With Burning Concern: We Accuse Pope Francis

"The culminating event that impelled us to take this step was the revelation of your 'confidential' letter to the bishops of Buenos Aires authorizing them, solely on the basis of your own views as expressed in
Amoris Laetitia
, to admit certain public adulterers in 'second marriages' to the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion without any firm purpose of amending their lives by ceasing their adulterous sexual relations. "

Michael Matt, Christopher Ferrara & John Vennari
Please do read of their joint efforts in defense of Catholicism by clicking on the link above, and join me in continued prayers for the above men, modern-day Vendeans all, that their efforts come to fruition and awaken from their torpor the Shepherds who have been ignoring their Divine vocations, including the Chief Shepherd, Pope Francis.

"Instaurare omnia in Christo" should be the motto not only of Pope St Pius X, but of each and every Roman Catholic. Let us hope and pray it comes soon.

A Commentary on Things Past and Present

For many Catholics - indeed all Catholics - the line in the sand has now been drawn. It is now a wide furrow that is unable to be mistaken for anything other than what it represents - God vs Man; God's Law's vs man's laws; Purity of Soul vs Lust of Nature. Black and white has now been made a neutral grey, its purity and beauty now decided by the whim of the person, rather than the immutable Truth of God. More fitting words cannot describe it better than:

It is indeed finished. The pews may empty more, now. The collection basket may be a bit more lighter the Sunday after the announcement than the Sunday before, because some will believe the Bishops and Cardinals could have/should have done more (in grand scheme of this life, what is more important: junk theology or one's immortal Soul?) Some may walk out when a priest presents his judgement on why his flock must now contravene God's Law and welcome and celebrate with openness, joy and love the "couple" in the next pew who have now been confirmed in their sin. There is no need any longer to Hate the Sin and Love the sinner...we can now Love the Sinner AND his/her sin because the most prominent of Catholic's have pronounced it so. The first priest who lawfully refuses to lay the Sacred Body and Blood of Christ upon an unworthy tongue will be crucified, like his Savior before him, when the news goes viral. His Bishop may pronounce it is not the way of the Diocese and that Christ Loves all men and women, including those in the darkest reaches of lust, and announce this particular priest has decided to take a sabbatical and re-discover his Ecumenistic Catholicism and become a better "servant to the poor" and " a smeller of the sheep". You know it will happen, because it already has.

And it will also happen because the Church has (apparently) lost Her focus. The focus was lost within the Pontificate of John XXIII and most certainly in that of Paul VI, he of the Mass we now call the OF, the Novus Ordo. That is where the grey's, the green's, the red's and the blue's all coalesced into something that was able to be individualized by the local celebrant. The black and white Objective Truth of the now-EF Tridentine Mass was shoved aside - illegally, as it turns out - in favor of the new: the new that was, in part, helped in its production by Protestants who had no business dipping their heretical fingers into our Catholic Latin Mass. Such is the world of Ecumenism at the expense of Truth. When the Mass was changed, so was our Foundation and our Faith and we are now reaping the whirlwind of this lack of catechetical teaching of the past 60 years.

Theoden: "I will not risk open war."

Aragorn: "Open war is upon you whether you would risk it or not."

Who will now rise in defense of the Sacred; of the Bible; of the chosen words of Christ Himself? Who now will sacrifice his clerical career to the man on earth, and yet willing do so for the greater reward that awaits him from the Man in Heaven? Who will be the first to stare down the evil that infects Holy Mother Church? Who will be the first to sacrifice his Bishop purple or his Cardinal red for the lowly life of a parish curate in northern Manitoba or the farther-most reaches of Nairobi? Raymond Cardinal Burke? Bishop Athanasius Schneider? Robert Cardinal Sara? Archbishop Blase Cupich?

I doubt it...but might be wrong...hope I am wrong. For the moment, we are defended in large part, not by the upper-level hierarchy, but by the Michael Matt's, the Louie Verrecchio's, the Anne Barnhardt's. By the SSPX, the Father Michael Rodriguez's, the Father Lawrence Cizik's. The sheep are for the most part, guarding themselves, are they not? Where are they who will "...Open thy mouth for the dumb, and for the causes of all the children that pass. Open thy mouth, decree that which is just, and do justice to the needy and poor" ?

Where are you? We need you! Christ needs you! Holy Mother Church needs you! How long will you remain cowering in the darkness of your palatial dens, waiting for others to do the work that you were given Divine command to perform yourselves?

Well? Where ARE you???

Black Lives Matter - The First Movement

For your consideration, I submit below 5 members of the earliest known "Black Lives Matter" movement, well worthy of emulation by those of any ethnicity, not just Black. Click on the names for a more complete profile.

                                            Saint Benedict the Black

Benedict the Moor, O.F.M., (Italian: Benedetto da San Fratello, 1526 – April 4, 1589) was an Italian Franciscan friar in Sicily who is venerated as a saint in the Catholic and Lutheran churches. Born of African slaves in San Fratello, he was freed at birth and became known for his charity. As a young man he joined a Franciscan-affiliated hermit group, of which he became the leader. In 1564 he was sent to the Franciscan friary in Palermo, where he continued good works. (From Wikipedia)

                                St. Charles Lwanga and Companions

One of 22 Ugandan martyrs, Charles Lwanga is the patron of youth and Catholic action in most of tropical Africa. He protected his fellow pages (aged 13 to 30) from the homosexual demands of the Bagandan ruler, Mwanga, and encouraged and instructed them in the Catholic faith during their imprisonment for refusing the ruler’s demands.

For his own unwillingness to submit to the immoral acts and his efforts to safeguard the faith of his friends, Charles was burned to death at Namugongo on June 3, 1886, by Mwanga’s order.
(From Franciscan Media)

                                           St. Josephine Bakhita

Josephine Margaret Bakhita, F.D.C.C., (ca. 1869 – 8 February 1947) was a Sudanese-born former slave who became a Canossian Religious Sister in Italy, living and working there for 45 years. In 2000 she was declared a saint by the Catholic Church. (From Wikipedia)

                                     Servant of God Augustus Tolton

Servant of God Augustus Tolton (April 1, 1854 – July 9, 1897), baptized Augustine Tolton, was the first Roman Catholic priest in the United States publicly known to be black when he was ordained in 1886. (James Augustine Healy, ordained in 1854, and Patrick Francis Healy, ordained in 1864, were of mixed-race.) A former slave who was baptized and reared Catholic, Tolton studied formally in Rome.

He was ordained in Rome on Easter Sunday of 1886 at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran. Assigned to the diocese of Alton
[in Illinois and where I grew up and worked for many years in my youth - Ed.] now the Diocese of Springfield), Tolton first ministered to his home parish in Quincy, Illinois. Later assigned to Chicago, Tolton led the development and construction of St. Monica's Catholic Church as a black "national parish church", completed in 1893 at 36th and Dearborn Streets on Chicago's South Side.

                                                  Bl.Isidore Bakanja

Isidore Bakanja, is a young Congolese born in Bokendela . A convert to Catholicism , he became a lay catechist. Hired in a Belgian colonial company undergoes the persecution of Director of the Agency which is strongly opposed to the evangelization of his workers. Whipped up blood, he dies from his injuries 15 August 1909. [He] is recognized by the Catholic Church as a martyr of the faith. Pope John Paul II beatified him in 1994. (From Wikipedia)

There are, of course, many, many more Black and African saints in the Roman Catholic Church. For more, click on the following link:Black / African Saints.

I'm Saved, Anyway...So, Why Worry?

I have come to believe  -and therefore no longer have any fear about it - that I can say and believe whatever I like about my Catholic Faith and can be assured that no one can ever complain about my particular viewpoints and/or accuse me of being too orthodox or non-orthodox; of being too traditionalist or being to-o-o-o Traditionalist; of writing some deep and thought-provoking article defending the sanctity of marriage, or of a whimsy and nonsensical diatribe on the value of defending cockatiels from extinction due to global warming. I can write what I want without any fear my particular viewpoint is being heretical or ambiguous on, say, communion for the divorced and remarried or the inherent goodness of co-habitation with a person of the same sex, or opposite sex (or what-ever-the-currently-correct-PC-sexual-neutral-gender-non-specific-I-don't-care-what-you-call-yourself term is nowadays.) I have no worries about reaching my ultimate goal, despite the many sins I have committed or may yet commit (and can I even say, commit with impunity?)

In the words of that famous philosopher of the baby-boomers, Alfred E. Neuman (b. circa 1954): "What, me worry?"

I know that as long as I have mercy...I am saved. I know that as long as I am basically a good person...I am saved. I know that as long as I adore and follow unquestioningly whomever is the current pontiff on the throne in Rome...I am saved. I know that as long as I smile while taking my last hoarse, raspy, spittle-inducing gaspy breath and saying "Jesus!"...I am saved. I know that my many non-mortal but mostly very heavily-weighted venial sins will not confine me to purgatory ( there still such a place?) but for only the briefest of moments - and most assuredly, not even to Hell (which is only for really, really bad, bad people anyway.)

In short, (Uh, oh...I apologize to those of short stature for such a racist term as "short"...which includes me. But can I both apologize and call myself racist at the same time??) short, I can pretty much just live and believe however or whatever I want, as long as I'm not too awful bad (I have discerned that after much careful consideration of all my know: Sola Scriptura and all that jazz.)

I say all the above because that is what many of those in high Catholic places have led me to believe. As long as I don't rock the barque of our current God-Is-Love-In-All-Forms-Catholic-Church-United (NA), well then, I can be a good text-book Catholic and...I am saved. As long as I subscribe to the USCCB's latest dissertation on Global Warming or the inherent goodness of open-borders (because...wait-for-it...MERCY!) then...I am saved. In short (racist!), no matter what...I am saved!!!

Yes...being Catholic in the post-Vatican II, ultra modernist world is such a dream! I can be charismatic, heretical or heterodox and remain in "Full Communion" (as opposed to "half communion"?) I can attend Mass at an OF, EF or even a Mass celebrating the inherent goodness of SSA and fulfill my weekly (or at least, yearly) obligation. I can have my breakfast of bacon and eggs up to an hour before Mass or choose not to eat until after the 8 A.M. Mass. I can choose to accept the Objective Truths of the 10 Commandments as written, or, to modify any one (or all) of them as I discern is necessary to remain a "good" Catholic. I is my right and not my privilege to receive the Body and Blood of Christ, is it not? Just because someone is kinda sorta living in sin with another is no cause to deny them this right...right? Exactly!

I can believe both the immutable Truths of the 6th and 9th Commandments as given by God Himself to Moses, as well as the ambiguous directives in Amoris Laetitia given by a Pope that contradicts the former, and yet have no worries that I'm doing anything that would incur the wrath of the Author of the aforementioned Commandments. I can have both my former and current spouse (if I had one, that is) all at the same time...and still be saved! Cool!

Now, then...

...all I have to worry about is convincing the Just Judge at my final hearing of the same thing.

What, me worry?!?
